2nd pentacle of Mercury, Ahari, and Power

Long post...So I’m in graduate school and had my comprehensive exams this month. My written exam was turned in on the 4th a Monday and my oral exams were on this past Tuesday the 19th. So I had the intense power/Ahari candle and burned it with a petition after turning in the written section. The paper had 8 required sections and a 25 page limit. My first draft had 40 pages. I had to cut 15 pages and 2 sections to get in the page limit. I was worried so lit the 2nd pentacle of Mercury candle on the Wednesday following turning in the written paper too. I was like it will be impossible to pass since I literally got rid of two sections and if you fail more than three sections you don’t pass. The following week a classmate had her orals and was told she didn’t fail her written but passed with revisions meaning she had to resubmit rewrites. In my head I was like ok maybe I’ll pass my oral and at least be given the chance to resubmit my missing sections. The morning of my orals I lit a mini power candle and put my deceased mother’s picture next to my laptop. I chanted that I’d pass my written and orals. I kept the candle going in the background next to my mothers picture during my oral exam zoom meeting. During my oral as expected my evaluators asked about the missing sections on my written submission. I explained what happened. They then gave me a chance to state what was in the missing sections. Then I had my oral examination. The evaluators paused the zoom to meet privately and make a decision. Y’all tell me why it took them less than a minute to come back! They said I passed both my written and oral. Even with the missing required sections I passed the written and don’t have to resubmit any revisions! It’s been two days I still can’t believe it.
