So I want to setup an altar or something similar so that I can indulge more into the craft of manifestation, conjure, etc. I have recently placed a few orders of some things that caught my attention and will probably post pictures later once they arrive, but I need some ideas of do's and don't when it comes to a setup. In other post I saw that with an ancestor alter nothing else should be burned or placed on, which is why I'm seeking advice. Also, can someone tell me if having wiccan or Buddhist items in the space a no go or is it ok? TIA 🥰🥰❤❤💫💫💫🖖

Also a white cloth and something to clense the area like Florida water and a space out of the way for their privacy.
I would check yt there are a lot of videos on there that explain how to set up alters. But for starters. You'll need a clean glass of water, flowers, candles(most use 7 day candles) and something that represents air like a feather 🪶, sage, palo santo, incense..etc you can put things your ancestors like maybe some jewelry, scratchers, and for food offerings something they liked or fruit. Its really up to you as long as you don't forget the 4 elements. Earth,air,fire, and water. Hope this helps.
