I lit the retrograde candle on March 2nd, just to cover myself from the top of the year (venus was in retrograde at the time) and everything has been going smoothly. The retrograde at the end of 2024 was ROUGH. The only thing that helped at the time was 4th of Jupiter for a psychic shield, Mars for protection and a whole lotta omni spirit.
The retrograde candle is like a road opener + divine intervention in one, imo. It has a stabilizing effect. I dont feel swept up in any chaotic energy, at all. Merc retrogrades feel hot for me, like everything is going too fast, and I just better hold on tight. The candle definitely blocks the negative effects, and I have noticed an increased improvement in communication and relationships. I would also say this candle is great for long term projects whether magickal or in your personal life. It definitely brings in ease and calm over your life. I lit it one time for 12 hours.
