Do you burn the petitions in the flame of the candle when it first begins to burn? Towards the end of the candle? Separately in another fire safe container? Keep under candle until the end then-In the candle holder/jar/can after all the wax is gone?

I put my petitions and pictures under the candle. Since i print my pictures i burn everything in a cauldron when I’m done. If the candle is finishing i burn them in the candle.
