Tuition paid in FULL!!Nursing School Scholarship!!

First, I just want to give gratitude because this is just a huge Blessing!

because Y’all Know how expensive school is, plus there aren’t many funding options pursing a 2nd degree.

I'll try and make this testimony short and sweet but believe me when I say “Layers, Layers,Layers”

Layering your work, time and PATIENCE !

So earlier this year in January I was suppose to be going into my final semester of Nursing and would finally graduate with my BSN,RN in May. Unfortunately things didn’t go as planned and I had to appeal my grade from the previous semester due to unfairness on the schools part which of course they didn’t own up to and my appeal was denied and I was no longer able to finish at this particular school.

Now I’ll lay out the steps I took and the results that came SOON after!

I got the Legba Vodou Rit in January the amazing @Ife- Grow, Learn, Evolve helped with my petition and it literally mentioned “ remove all those blocking my successful nursing career…..”. Papa Legba did exactly that and removed me from that entire school! Of course with also giving me a School so Much Better than I could have imagined.

From January up until May I was searching for schools that aligned with my needs. Mid May I found my new school that accepted me and all my previous prerequisites plus two nursing classes ( nursing classes are hard to transfer). I was relieved! I didn’t even worry that it would cost me an arm and a leg at the time , I’d find a way I told myself and kept it moving.

By the beginning of August I found this Scholarship that would offer full tuition, 1:1 mentorship, networking plus so much more and I’d just have to commit 3-5 yrs working with this particular company ,their everywhere (A no brainer right!) I filled out the form to get more information and just waited, then nothing. So August 16 my Birthday it’s a Sunday y’all , I get a call from a lady telling me the email I gave bounced back and to give her a new one to send the scholarship information! I’m thinking to myself now who calls on a Sunday to let someone know this ! I said “ Yea this is for ME, and it’s MINE”! All info had to be turned in that Friday

( resume, letter of recommendation, personal statement,etc.) I had it in by Thursday!.

We would be informed first week of September who would be selected for interviews with the committee.

So everything literally got pushed back because of Hurricane Ida (Louisiana over here👋🏽).

So y’all could imagine how on edge I was, I’d forget about it and then I’m like ok we’re almost in October where y’all at ! 😩. Now I never got discouraged because I knew it was for me. I just kept checking that email lol.

On Sept 29 driving home from school something said check email y’all ! The words “ Congratulations! you have been selected to move on to the interview phase”! Y’all I cried like a baby the rest of the way home! I couldn’t stop saying Thank You!! . I truly worked so hard for this!

Interviewed : Oct 1 - I nailed it ! They loved me ( I rubbed GF & Bella/Lust)

October 13: I felt something that morning I was like it’s coming today I just know it! I woke up from a nap around 5ish checked email and to my Surprise the email was sitting there not even 20 minutes !! I Was Officially selected as a Scholarship recipient!🙌🏾🙌🏾 Praise God!

Our intuition is something else because the night before I was telling my friend that they said it would be within this timeframe it has to be tomorrow!
