Anyone work with these? Or have experiences or advice. I did a reading with my santero and he said the 7 African powers are with me and to light the candle? Just wondering if anyone can chime in.
The Orishas each have their own color, day, and purpose. Do not use that candle or separate Orisha candles before you research. Voudun is a religion that must be researched.
Right I have done rituals for legba and granted permission already, now I was told my pregnancy was being protected by the 7 powers, and of course I want to honor them. I know that's the only time I can call on them all at once, reference to the candle of 7). I have done research. Lol trust me I don't want to upset them. I just wanna make sure others have done it and hear experiences.
‘I have been building relationship with the Orishas since I purchased the Papa Legba Rite back in Nov. I asked Papa Legba for help to remove financial road blockage (this involved a long drawn settlement that has been owed to me for almost a decade from the IRS…yes the IRS) and I asked permission to work with Oya. 3 days after the Rite, I seen the signs Lady LaLa mentioned in her post-Legba ritual email. Including a dream that had Orisha”s Ogun and Chango. a Person on this forum mentioned I may had been seeing these two Orishas because the blockages are great and Oya is was the wife of Chango/Ogun. So every week I set up alters corresponding to the days for Papa Legba, Oya, Chango and Ogun. Lady LaLa always stated to build a relationship. I testify that every week my circumstances did a 360. In a good way. a new attorney took over my case. Every week my settlement amount keeps increasing because of back interest. in all this Finding out my last attorney never Filed a boat load of papers. That caused more delays. So now since the rite As of now my present attorney is in Kansas (no Cost to me) filing for a rapid deposit because he knows the irs is blaming Covid and staffing shortages for delays in getting paperwork.
Congratulations!! I’m still trying to do my research. I really want to learn everything so I can know exactly where I should be when it comes to this spiritual journey
When I started seeking a change in my spiritual journey i was curious about African Religion, I was led and dive into learning about Yoruba, hoodoo and root work as well. This how I came upon to the Conjure and Orishas. I’m still learning and I take my time researching. Best of wishes to you and your journey
Oh and its the rainbow candle BTW each color represents an orisha, typically u start with papa legba which lala has a candle for n a rite but please do ur research because its a lot of things that come with them.
Papa Legba has a red candle and his Veve you have to ask his permission before working with any of the Lwa every time you work with one or if your going to do any type of ceremony or offering
