Hey y’all I’m finally in a space where I can have an altar and do altar work, keep my candles displayed etc *And I’m new here so I apologize if there is already a post about this * But what are some things I need for altar work? Anybody have any pics of their altar space they are willing to share to give me an example? Thanks in advance y’all

Depends on what your altar will be used for. You definitely want to have sage, palo santo, and or Florida water for protection. And elemental things like incense, crystals, water for offering, candles then most everything else is a matter of personal choice things you are drawn to or that have personal significance to you. I like to try to plan everything out and when I started wanted to think of color schemes and a theme but someone further ahead on their journey told me things for my space will pop up and I will be drawn to them and that is basically how my altar evolved from a meditation space to an ancestral altar.
