I always burn a white candle for my grandparents..my grandfather candle has black smoke at top, I've never seen this happen.. does anyone know what this can mean?

It looks like you have had some sort of negativity around you or your household. The good thing is it looked like it cleared up at the end. The same thing happen to me on my alter numerous times. Your grandfather is definitely protecting you. That’s positive.
It could just be the candle but I would like to follow this post as I have one glass pillar candle holder and it does get black when the candle burns down. I personally think it’s just the candle, not necessarily a sign. But let an expert chime in.
