Bad luck after lighting a candle

I see a lot of people post about bad things happening right after they light a candle so I thought I'd offer a little testimonial about the power of faith and patience: I needed a per diem job so I lit GF in December and right away I was hired for a job that paid $61 an hour. After all the onboarding and stuff was completed, my start date was scheduled for the end of February. At that time I had lit Crossroads. The day after I burned Crossroads, the job told me that my background check was still pending so they were pushing my orientation back a few weeks. I had a huge scheduling conflict with the new start date so they pushed it back again. Then they rescheduled that orientation and my start date was pushed back yet AGAIN. Long story short, they ended up rescinding my job offer because with all the delays, it had been over 30 days since I was hired. I was super devastated because I asked for the perfect per diem job, I got it, but then it was taken away from me. Well I got a call today from another job that I applied to MONTHS ago. They are very interested and want to set up an interview. I've worked at this place before as a temp and the manager invited me to apply back in October, but there was a hiring freeze at the time. I honestly had forgotten about it. They pay $75 an hour! I wouldn't have been available for this job if the other job had worked out. So one door had to close in order for another door to open. And the door wasn't opened right away. It took some time and a series of events had to take place in order for everything to line up. I was confused and it didn't make sense at the time, but you have to have faith and trust in the process!
