This term has always been funny for me to hear because it’s evident that who ever had the audacity to call magic by a color.... clearly has been influenced by Hollywood. I’m not sure if anyone will agree but I see magick as a tool and it’s basically up to the person casting these spells deciding what they do with said spell. A knife for example or a gun isn’t “good” or “bad” it just is. The intention to do harm with those objects is the issue and not the objects themselves. I see magick the same way. It’s also very funny to me that people that will label magick in general as “black magick” are the same hypocrites who will still dabble when no one is looking or ask me for magical intervention on a situation thats hit the fan in their life. This has happened several times in the 10 years that I’ve been practicing and honestly, it’s quite annoying to say the least. I used to feel bad and help people out anyway regardless of what they thought about my craft but lately I’ve asked myself, “is this person worth helping even though they don’t have respect for what i believe in?” I find myself turning away a lot of people now ☺️ What do you guys think about this whole “white magick” and “black magick” labels people like to put on spell casting? Have your views changed on this or are they shifting?? I’m curious about your answers, let’s discuss 😊

Yeah! We talked about this and you really made me understand :) You are a gem my friend
I call it hoodoo
I see it as “is the intention good or bad?” I grew up Catholic and it’s a big no no, even if your gifted to some degree. One of the questions that popped up is, is it a selfish move or for the good of others? Does the person you want to help, want to be helped in the first place or do they want to be in that miserable place? Maybe they’re ok with their situation...
I dont like to refer to magic as black or white. I say left or hand. Its all about the person using it.
