Hey y’all! So I have an ancestor altar that I just put together and then I have another general altar space. The glass of water on my general altar space is full of bubbles. My ancestor altar space has no bubbles. Does that mean anything? Check out the pics!
First of all, you should add more water to the glass for your ancestors, fill it close to the top. Secondly, just because you don’t have any bubbles in the water does not mean that your ancestors are not with you. Your ancestors are always with you. There could be various reasons why there aren’t any bubbles. Don’t worry about if there are or aren’t any bubbles; concentrate on sitting at your altar and spending time with your ancestors, talk to them as if they were sitting physically there. The more you spend time with them the easier it becomes to feel their presence, hear them and/or understand when they’re trying to communicate.
