Chanting Question

Hello family question I usually let my candle burn until it done. I also chant and meditate every day that the candle is burning is chanting still effective when you don't blow out and relight? I hope this makes since I used to only chant when the candle was first lit now spend more time with the candle and put my intention into it every day until it burns out
