For spelled candles, I write my chants twice; once in my manifestation journal and once on my brown paper and anoint the paper with a corresponding oil and put it under the candle then proceed to chant. When I conjure, I do the same with my petitions. I read out loud what I desire once after invoking spirit. When you chant for spelled candles, say it like you already have it. For example: “I am thankful my relationship with **** is strong and full of love”
Within the first 5 minutes of lighting I usually chant for 5-10 minutes. To me, chants are used for the spelled candles and Eriss. Petitions are used for conjure. Chants are brief and petitions tend to be a little longer.
