Do children need to be out of the house when initially lighting conjure candles or just out of the same room? I’ve been wanting to light halo/6th pom but I was unsure if I could do it with my child at home. I’ve heard it can get intense

They aren’t bad spirits so your children dont need to protected from them. Your calling them and they are showing up to take your order and leave. So if it helps no your children dont have to gone unless thats a fire safety measure
I lit a conjure candle while my child was sleeping in another room. For preventative measures I placed salt on the inside of my doorway and the outside of my child’s doorway before I began my work. After dismissing the spirits, I kept my child out of my room the entire time the candle burned.
It's ok, light it up. Just be vigilant and watch the herbs on the candle.
