I don't think it would be necessary with a candle that is meant to force things to happen without delay. It doesn't need to be used with anything else but at the end of the day most magick is an experiment so it's your choice. It's either going to work faster or it won't.
It's meant to be used alone...but if you do...please let me know lol if you want it to be REALLY powerful then you can burn two of them at the same Time. But be careful what u wish for

Yes, you can put it on candles, bath salts, herbal mixtures, jewelry, mix with oil or lotion. You don't need a specific candle for your spell to work. You can use taper, votive, pillar, tealight. Trust me I've been a practitioner of magick in general since the late 90s. You can also create a herbal mixture and burn it. Get creative, everything is magick.
