Do you have to contact Papa Legba before using conjured candles?

I have a bunch of candles including the 5th pentacle of Mercury (door opener) and the 3rd pentacle of Venus, do I need to ask Papa before I can work with those candles?

You may not have any blockages but if you do you will need papa Legba to remove blockages and allow access to the spirits you will be conjuring.

@Ebony Yeah so far I’ve used unhex, Halo (which I definitely physically purged from for two days) and now I’m on my healing candle. I plan to use the Mars candle next...after I was done with those I was going to get into my road openers, DA, Venus (new love), power, goof fortune etc. I figured I’d do a full out spiritual cleanse & protect before I moved to the conjured candles...i just wondered cause the Papa Legba candle is a road opener but so is 5th pentacle of Mercury so I wasn’t sure if I needed that one before the other?
