Hello everyone, I always get a mushroom wick while it’s burning. I usually don’t pay mind to it but I wanted to know if anyone had any insight to this. Thank you.

I’ve also read where that’s a result of carbon build up from the flame. When I snuff the candle and it cools, I usually remove it from the wick.
It can happen when the wick is too large for the candle. I usually trim it when I see it mushrooming
