I just lit my first candle, 3X Intense Un-Hex Healing Halo. I cleansed my space before lighting and it was flaming good after about 10 minutes (I chanted for about 6-7). I debated smothering right away, but did have herbs and glitter on the top so I figured it would calm down in a few minutes. After 25 minutes it was still flaming good and I decided to smother it. After smothering, the glass cracked! I did have a great deal of calm and inner peace immediately after lighting. Anyone have any ideas what this means and what step I should take next?

Putting sand around the candle helped ALOT the glass is not hot
Mine has been burning 28 hours. I took out some glitter and herbs.
Thank you all! I read about the herbs catching fire at the end of burning, but never expected it in the first 30 minutes. I have re-lit the candle after letting it cool and placing it in a ceramic container with water.
I never let the flame get all crazy. I light the candle for a few minutes, let the wax around the wick get a little soft, then I snuff it. Then I move the herbs and glitter away from the wick, relight and THEN I chant. The flame is pretty to look at but I feel like it could get out of control really fast.
The. Fire was too hot for the glass doesn’t really mean anything crazy don’t stress yourself out she has a fire warning in her book things like this happen often it’s glass
It just over heated. Those big flames are beautiful but it means the herbs caught fire and overheated. Next time put in water or sand and move the herbs away from the wick.
