Happened to my table. Got two single sheets of sandpaper: one coarse, one fine. Sanded that shit out. Bleach made it worse - just sand it.

Def used a candle holder next time one that is kinda elevated
I have a black dresser and I placed my candle on a metal plate and one of my candles still got hot enough to heat through the metal plate and leave a small circle on my nightstand I’m just glad it’s not noticeable.
