healing works on so many levels

i used to be in an emotionally abusive relationship with a narcissist, it was bad to the point that i had gotten diagnosed with PTSD afterwards. i've been healing from them for the past 3 years and every time they show up in my dreams i end up trying to fight them, run away, or hide petrified. well, for the first time in 3 years, that person popped up in my dream and i wasn't afraid, wasn't fighting, wasn't crying, nothing. i saw them in the dream and literally just turned away from them and carried on my conversation with another person. 😂

this is major for me because it tells me that person is no longer a trigger for me, they no longer have any power over me. i just wanted to share in case anybody is needing a similar type of healing.
