How do l use my Halo/Mars candle for the Papa Legba Rite? I was on IG last night (just recently got a page going). On one of Auntie Lala’s videos she states cleanse first with Halo. I do have Halo and Halo/Mars..please someone help my booking time is 5:00 today..l didn’t know this till the last minute I’m thinking we just cleanse ourselves with a bath before she starts y’all l really need for this to happen smoothly.

@Her_Eudaimonia you’re on time..l just said aloud “ Papa l don’t like to be rushed OMG” yes was getting a bit anxious and realizing that can cause blockages. You post came on time along with Queen Daughter thanks Queens for coming in with relief for my situation. I have all l need for a cleansing bath, Erzulie is Friday for me as well. I have time to burn before her rite which is 5:00 l appreciate y’all to the fullest
You can light Sage throughout your home. You use Florida Water as well
There are various forms of cleansing and ideally you’d want to do this in advance of the rites(days). Rushing and stressing will create anxiety and blockages. If you live near a botanica/metaphysical shop you can purchase a “spiritual bath” or buy the ingredients and mix the bath yourself. The candles are to burn a minimum of 6 hours but they can burn longer (with supervision). You can smudge (with sage) and Florida water to cleanse yourself and/or your room/house. You can also say cleansing mantras or play cleansing singing bowls(find them on YouTube). You can also apply aura, peace, guardian Eriss. As far and the chants you can write and/or speak affirmations about removing blockages and being protected from all harm.
