Hi ! I’m new to the group and see a lot of pics with altars. Is that required of me in order for things to work accordingly ?

I had this exact question too. Maybe someone on here can help. Would it affect the spell work if we put away our altar during the day and bring it out at night ? I’m not able to leave it out at all times

Welcome! Having an altar isn’t a requirement for these candles just a clean safe space to burn. If you work with LWA candles you kind of have to set up an altar for the LWA you’re working with. You see a lot of altars because most people are more into spirituality than just burning the candles and tend to have some type of altar already prior to having come across the candles or get into spirituality because of the candles and take it further by setting up altars.
