It was done by the court legally married . I come from a black family background and I just know my Mom is gonna flip and so are my grandparents. But is there a candle to make the conversation with my Mom and Grandparents easy and not so mean on me when I tell them . They are from the islands and Catholic upbringing so strict and don’t play around with what they may feel is foolishness. My marriage is important to me and I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t think it was the right move for myself and my now husband. But Imma need a strong candle just to make this conversation easy and not so difficult or hurtful. I’m 32 yrs of age by the way so I’m very grown but this is my first/only marriage . I’m confident and happy in my womanly adult choice I made for my life but I’m still scared to have this conversation with my Mom even though I’m grown and live on my own . Plus I’m moving to Georgia & therefore starting a new life and new opportunities for myself and my husband. Technically my Brother lives in Tennessee, my baby Bro is moving to Utah, and my baby Sister travels all over the world with her job as well .
