Interesting thing happening

Has anyone had this happen where the 4POS candles wick will have a strong good flame then gets low to the point where you think it’s going to snuff itself from how drowned it is but it doesn’t, it’ll stay lit the whole time while white smoke comes out of it? Idk if this makes sense but I decided to light my 4POS (yes I paid my respects) today and it will have a strong flame and then it will get so low but it will just not snuff itself, not that I want it to, but I’m just saying like it’s weird that it does that and then it will grow back out of nowhere. And the entire time it’ll have white smoke coming out of it too. What does that mean or what can it mean. Any ideas? 🤔💭
