Interference With Spell Work.

Hello so I have a question to ask you all, so recently I burned 11 love candle for my love target and waited for movement and next I burn my halo/mar candle I had left to cleanse and protect my spell work and again waited for movement last I burned my cloaked candle to cloaked the relationship from nosey people. In the beginning everything seem to be going fine but then it seem everything was having a reverse effect. Is it possible that my target's attention has been draw elsewhere and that could possible had interference with my spell work. If so what should I do to fix this or should burn unhex candle and start over.
