I lit my Good Fortune candle this morning. It’s funny because I wasn’t quite ready to burn it yet. I had been listening to manifestations and affirmations videos for about two weeks and had not thought once to burn my GF candle. Just meditation. But for some reason this morning, after I dropped my kids off at school, I just had an overwhelming feeling to burn my candle out of nowhere! It was like an epiphany! I knew my ancestors were giving me permission. Last night I went to bed and I asked for a clear, evident sign of what they want me to know and guide me of what I am to do. So after my epiphany, I came home, cleansed my space, my mind, blessed my home and my altar and really took my time writing out my petitions while listening to meditation music. As I lit my candle, I had so much joy in my heart! Like my heart is full and bubbling over. I closed my eyes and quietly thanked my ancestors, spirit guides and angels and pictured them around me. I felt them there! Almost in a huddle. As I spoke my affirmations over my candle, I literally pictured everything came to fruition. I spoke “As If” it was already mine. I spoke with confidence, matter of fact and gratefulness. Then, I put my trust in the universe and let it be. It’s been burning like this ever since. A strong, vertical, tall flame. My petition has been heard and is working quickly for my good. Biggest take away from this is listen to your gut/intuition! Your spirit guides, ancestors are trying to get your attention. And sometimes they send it as an epiphany, a dream or you keep hearing the same thing over and over or whatever. Also, TAKE YOUR TIME when preparing yourself, affirmations and your candles. Be very specific! Don’t do it if you’re in a rush. Do whatever relaxes you first. A shower, bath, meditation or just music. Cleanse your space, yourself, your altar. Clear your mind and visualize. Then release and TRUST that it is all happening for your good and is already yours. Don’t stalk it. Just like you know that you’re expecting that paycheck every two weeks on time, Is the same energy you put into what you’ve petitioned for. Your ancestors got you!!

I feel as if I should start over. Do u think I can change my chants even tho I have already burned the candle for over 12 hrs?
