Is there a “you got me f*cked up” candle?

Literally the day I started my new job is when they shut everything down due to the coronavirus. So I’ve only met face to face with people from my new job once, they haven’t formally trained me, I’m teleworking, and I’ve been thrown into an agency where everything is foreign and I need time to learn it. I had an introductory phone call with someone who will be assigning me data to collect for them. He asked me how I was in Excel and I told him that I was basic. 1. I wanted to be upfront and wasn’t going to lie or oversell myself, because then I would’ve had to uphold that 2. I felt like the question wasn’t fair because I don’t know what they’re going to want me to do with the data and I’m new to the agency. I know how to maneuver in Excel and I know how to learn more about it. I’m not stupid, I just don’t know what I’ll be doing at my new job for me to be calling myself an expert. After the phone call, this man went to the people who hired me and told them that he thinks they hired the wrong person! He misjudged me off of one phone call! 🤬 Now he has me fucked up for judging me like that because he doesn’t understand the circumstances or my skill set. The people who hired me are defending me, but now I feel some type of way about this man who I might be working directly with. Will the Power candle still suffice for this? I need him to shut his mouth because he’s already tarnishing my reputation, trying to make it seem like I’m incompetent. I’m trying not to be mad about this, but I hate when people try to play me. Now I know to have more confidence and to choose my words wisely when asked about my skills. 😓 My people know why they hired me and they need to make sure that I’m properly trained. Sn: Right after that incident, I was given an assignment and I did perfect on it, so my people believe in me, it’s just this one guy who decided to misjudge me after one conversation. I need a candle recommendation that will make him hop off my nuts. 😬
