I’m a kitchen witch, not gifted in candle work, so I lean on Lala’s wonderful candles to bridge the gap. The first few candles I felt the power, but I also felt disconnected to the work. But today I used a jar and added sugar and honey, some essential oils and gemstones (along with the recommended items) and it just clicked for me. No question here, but a reminder to find a way to add your own magic if possible. And a thank you to Lala for creating candles that work for all of us, no matter our background.

I love your post I use various methods myself depending on what I want
Not to be dumb but how do you make a honey jar for a target?
Oh, I almost forgot... I sprayed the inside of the jar and lid with rose water before I started.
Which candle did you use a jar for?
Did you only put the items of the person you wish to sweeten or did you use personal items for yourself and the other person I was thinking about doing a honey jar with my rekindle candle since it’s the biggest one I added both of our garments but haven’t lit it yet
That actually sounds like a great idea! I just finished my Halo and will be starting my Sweetening Candle, I’m thinking about adding a Honey Jar and placing the candle on top the jar.
