"KARMA" or "THREE FOLD LAW OF RETURN "

In Hoodoo we work with one hand or both hand. This means. We do either bas or good or a little bit if both. While there is no karma, the work needs to be justified. If you’re hexing someone, it better be for a legitimate reason. For this, we take karma into our own hands but we have to make sure that it is justified work that warrants it being done.

Lala mentioned in an ig post a couple months ago that karma is the energy that punishes guilt. I love that she summed it up so simply and succinctly.

There is no karma or three fold law. If you have no guilt in your work and it’s justified then the spirits will help you. If it’s not justified, they won’t help you. At least that’s what I believe and I’ve heard many people say.

Also, in my opinion, we as Black people carry a huge karmic imbalance due to the 400 years of slavery, genocide and oppression. If you believe that the universe is about balance, then that huge imbalance that we currently have justifies why there is no karma in Hoodoo until that debt is repaid to us.

This does not mean that our actions, positive or negative, do not have consequences. Which is why we saw be careful what you wish for.

I don’t believe in three fold but I do believe in karma. Or that if you’re a shitty person shitty things happen to you.
