I need clear instructions…I am beyond excited that Lala made this candle! I’ve had a connection with Marie Laveau since about 2016 and even recorded a song on my album named Voodoo Marie inspired by her! The candle is listed under conjure candles on the website, and the description on the website gives a wonderful backstory on her, but it doesn’t give instruction on what seal to use, what day, metal, activation scripture, etc…. Is this a spelled candle or conjure candle?
I'm going to reiterate since a seal was mentioned again, for clarification:
There's no seal for her candle. It's not Solomonic. No relation at all. But you are conjuring. The Lwa and Marie LaVeau are Voudou. Different process, different magick and there are no spells when petitioning or conjuring. You cannot command them and they are not bound by a seal. They can choose or not choose to work with you. You can't just light a candle and petition and your wish is granted.. It's not that simple with these spirits. A seal is an indication of control by the holder of the seal , you don't have control over the Lwa. They have to grant you favor.
It's not a Solomonic conjure candle. There's no seal, her Veve is already on the candle. There's no planetary day or metal because again not Solomonic. But it is conjure. Follow the instructions in the book for the Lwa (even though she's technically not a Lwa), but that would be the easiest. Also you can research online (or books) how to set up her altars, offerings and petition her.
There are others here in the forum who work with her already and can possibly elaborate more...
Usually Ms. LaLa places instructions with candle if not on site. It might have seal on the candle.
