My herbs keep lighting on fire even when I move them

I push the big pieces down in the wax if it's not liquid yet

I removed big pieces of herbs or cinnamon sticks if not they will catch on fire. I placed them inside the box

I'm not sure what you mean by light a circle around it, but you can try waiting for the wax to harden before you relight/chant.

I've had that happen before also, but it was because I didn't move the herbs far enough from the wick.
