I was burning my healing candle and I fell asleep as it was nearing its finish only to be awaken at 3am by the smoke alarm and a raging fire. I blame myself because before I went to bed I said to myself I should move those herbs but I didn’t and here’s what happened 🤦🏾♀️ it actually burned through a cloth and a container to get to the bench. Glad I didn’t burn the house down.
Metal trays, baking dishes, decorative ceramic plates that withstand heat are all good safe options. Also, for those that have fireplaces, the brick and stone thresholds of those and even inside the fireplace are useful (and pretty) to places to set candles safely. ✨🕯
I always sleep with my candles. Make sure you sit in on top of fire safe space and in water if it’s almost done.

I typically put mines in a big crab pot and sometimes just put a little water in it
Please use a candle plate or holder in the future. A pie pan, a pizza pan like someone mentioned , I see so many people burning their candles that aren’t practicing safety. I cringe every time. I’m sure glad you’re safe.
Never place your candles on anything flammable. Always use a metal pan.

Dollar tree has pizza pans dats aluminum that’s what I sat my candle on this post should say never put a candle on any cushion or cloth like material glad your ok though
Good Morning. I usually sit my candles on glass or in a glass bowl with water in it. Doing it this way I have left my candles overnight with no issues. But I have heard that you shouldn't but them On anything that can catch fire. Thank God you and yours are safe and the house was not burned down
