Originals

Ive been wanting to say this but I didn’t know if lala would be cool with it but here goes nothing if you want a some what of a realistic way to kinda understand forefathers/ancestors there is a show on Netflix called the originals yes it’s about vampires and stuff like that but a lot of it is based around New Orleans covens and stuff like and when it comes down to a show that shows it’s the only show Ik that comes so close to being realistic because it’s not like Disney where they snap their finger and a dragon pops outta no where it’s like real everyday spirituality like in order for them to do magic they need to first consult with their ancestors and barrow energy from them and then the magic is just like the real thing there is candles and petitions and protection spells for example on lala show the last episode before the reunions where she’s teaching us how to make that protection spell fairy wall yea in the show they do the same thing they mix herbs and crush it to dust then they put between them and what ever evil is trying to harm them I’m not saying any spells that they do in the show is real but what I’m saying is they definitely give you a good example of how far this stuff can take you and kinda how to think when you are chanting or meditating
