I may be a bit extra. It looks like it could possibly be his cane. Then I peep that fact that it's a pen..which words in and of itself is a gateway and then I notice your red shoes which is Papa's favorite color! Did the patients' dob have any 3's in them?
Just ask Papa to show you a sign! He ALWAYS comes through. Say something along the lines of "Papa show yourself to me please"
