so i ordered papa legba .. and didn’t receive anything with it like at all? charcoal, frankincense or coffee. should i just go to my local metaphysical store and buy it and do it like that? or wait for lala to get back with me when she can?
also this will be my first time invoking any spirit. im not scared. im trying to build a relationship with him first and set up his altar before i do anything.
also i did unhex .. but i blew out my candle and got rid of it and didnt notice i did it wrong until i was scrolling on the forum. i ordered another but im assuming its on back order or something bc i received my papa legba candle before my unhex and i ordered that one first. should i wait until i get my unhex candle before i proceed with my work? i feel like i should wait until i receive it to continue anything.

I would follow your intuition and wait until your Unhex get there. You can set up your alter for Papa and gain a relationship with him. And if you want you can go get the stuff at the store.
