Question on Re-lighting

Hi all! Hope everyone is well.

I have a question about re-lighting a spelled or conjured candle if you have to put it out after 6 hours. Will you need to do the chant again when you re-light? Or is it okay to just light it again and that's it?

Really appreciate anyone who can share what they do!

For SPELLED candles, you need to redo the chant each time you relight it. For CONJURE candles, as long as you dismissed the spirits, your conjure is finished. The only time you’d need to “redo” the process is if you’re using the same conjure candle for a different situation. In that case, you’d need to let spirit know the details. 💕

@F B Ah thank you, this has actually helped me so much! Think I may have ruined my DA as that was the only candle I didn't rechant whenever I relit :( oh well. Will try again!

So just to understand, I have a papa Legba candle. I called on him and asked him for help then snuffed after maybe 8 hours (I couldn’t sleep due to the light) so if I want to call on him again and ask him for something different I’d do the whole incantation and offerings thing and call him again and light it?
