With yesterday’s sale, I brought 7 items. Does that mean I will receive an additional candle with the ones I purchased or does it that if you place 2 of the same items in your cart one is free? Sorry for the dumb question. First time catching the BOGO sale.

The BOGO sale is during your purchase. It does not have to be the same candle. In theory, you should have chosen an 8th item for your cart, because you would have paid for only 4 of them. ❤️ hope this helps.
