I just participated in the first Erzulie rite. She came to me but my petitions were things that will come to me over time. Would it be over kill? I know she likes to be served often.

Petitioning and serving are different. You can serve/honor her without petitioning her again. It is best to allow time for movement instead of petitioning for the same request back to back.
