I also heard something similar to this however, it was explained for vulnerable ppl and/or newbies it can happen. Doesn’t mean it will however, utilizing lala’s candles she preps it to perfection to avoid things like this hence the booklet. If you were to Misfollow her and booklet then you can definitely call upon or open spiritual realms/doors to the wrong kind of spirit. Also keep in mind a parasite feeds off that negative energy and fear so you shouldn’t even think too deep into this like @Hameko said. Follow things accordingly and you’ll be fine.
