I just call on him three times and give him my request three times and I promise him his red flowers , pound cake and rum. I light a red candle and his incense with a glass of water to start and after he delivers I give him his offerings

He is good for emergencies and legal issues. You petition him only when you need help. He is not one you have to leave an alter up for.
