Hey to help even more I’ve come across this problem a few times. You have to trim the wick fairly close to the wax in order for it to burn properly. If all else fails, you can easily change out the wooden wick. 1. The trick is to get a long pair of tweezers. 2. Make sure the wax is fully dry. 3. Pull the wooden wick (stick) out. It comes out easily and then replace it with a new wooden wick. This will solve your problem. I highly recommend using a wider wick in the candles for an even better burn. The candles are wider than the original glass ones so they also take a lot more effort to burn the wax evenly. I hope this helps!
