Soo I lit my candle... i put a personal belonging in the jar, & closed it then i put a small picture on top of the jar along with a paper that said his name & DOB & put the candle on top of it all & LIT IT. I chanted for about 5 mins, now I have a headache 😩 did i have to write out what I was asking for & put it in the jar ?

I think you should be good! If you doubt what you did write the petition and still put it under the candle
No chanting and under is enough
