I read the booklet it says to write their name on the candle with a marker.
Does that mean writing it on the tin it comes in? Because I can't see how to write it on the candle side itself?

You only write it on the side of the candle if it’s the tin, if you so choose...if it’s the black glass you cannot write these on it. You write these on a piece of paper and place it under the candle.
