I don’t have a pic jus the name and birthdate can I use that for this candle to tether him to me? Thank you in advance

Yes you can. Just make sure month day and year are correct no guesses. You can also add location to be more precise.

Do you know how much of the person hair would be needed to use while burning the candle?

Some strands or small amount of hair from their brush will do. Make sure to place hair in a jar and burn candle on top of the jar. Do open jar afterwards.
