hey all. just seeking comfort and sharing my troubles here. i come from a country where our society aren’t open to magic and often see it as “black” magic. when i said i didnt have a room to myself to burn my candles and had to do it in the living room, i feared that they will disallow me to continue burning what i want to manifest and take control for MY OWN LIFE. this was what happened when my parents found out about my candle. i absolutely hate not having a room to myself at the age of 18. i’ve been constantly asking for a room so i can have some privacy and i can do things like burning the candle without needing to explain to ANYONE. i dont know what to feel or do. i probably wont be able to continue burning my deadly attraction and good fortune at all. im devastated and really want to move out. sigh. sorry for my rant.
Hey phillis! My parents are the same way but my mom is more understanding. She sees my candles and she’s like that’s devils work but my dad kicked my sis out when he saw she was burning her conjured candles. Mind you, I grew up in a very religious household but I’m desperate to move out so I’ve decided to control my own reality. I’ve been using lala’s candles since May. I’m asian too but I live in California so I know how you feel. Maybe you can purchase rituals from Tina if you can’t burn lalas candles or hide it in your closet but check on them every 30 mins that’s what I do or burn them in the kitchen/garden.
You're NOT stupid and your frustrations with your parents and tight living quarters are valid. Everyone needs privacy. Parents also shouldn't speak that way to their kids. So sorry you're going through this. You say you're 18, so perhaps an opportunity to live on your own-- like moving away to go to college-- will come soon.
Would it be possible to say your candles are scented? I don't think anyone would suspect candles is black magic or whatever
Sorry to hear what you’re going through! Ideally, you want to burn candles where your energy is, but you have a situation where you can’t. I think spirit would understand. Is it possible to burn at a friend’s house? And I get societal norms are different across cultures, but I also believe in gaining the impossible with Lala’s candles. I believe you can break barriers if you believe it too sis! 🙏🏽

I’m sorry your dad said that to hun, that’s hurtful to be called stupid from your parents try either doing your work outside or the Early morning when they are asleep that’s what I do 12:00-8:00am I’m normally doing my candle work
