When the Spirit Speaks, Listen

At first, I was doubting Ms. Lala but she is definitely the Truth. I recently was pulled back into the spiritual world (October 2019), and after experiencing her work this week, I’m back and I’m ready to learn from ancestors. When I was a kid, I would see spirits, predict specific events before they happened, and my friends would ask how I knew. My gifts always scared the hell out of me as a kid so as a teenager, I pushed them back to the back of mind. I still remember when I moved out of state and transferred to another high school my junior year (2002). This guy by the name of Luis said to me, cocking his head to the side: “You’re a witch.” Me being the bougie but down to earth black girl: “Who me? Never.” I smiled, and continued to converse with people. This always stuck with me because I always wonder why the hell would someone say that to someone unless the Spirit and/or Higher Power put it on their soul to say. I got so many stories from over the years, but let’s fast forward to this week- After cleansing my home, I lit the Power candle on Saturday. It burned for hours, and hours like this, finishing with white smoke. Papa Legba visited me last night with a deep message that it’s time to dive into my craft. 😳 So, my next purchase will be Halo, Legba, and many others.
