Which Candle should we get ?

My brothers and I have a very strict step dad he don't want us to be home passing 12 we had to move back home because we just couldt afford to lived with just one job we loose a job because of covid and all what is going on. we are in our 20 and we pay rent and bills so we are not living there for free its just more afortable right now ,he talks bad to our mother all the time we can't cook because he gets mad if we use the kitchen he says we stinking the house? , he is just so disrespectful to us and our mother. But my boyfriend ask me last week to stay the night with him and I ask my mother if that was alright with her she said yes but to ask him also so I did and his response was that his house was not a hotel if I wanted to stay there to just move in with him. Even we in our 20’s we still ask for permission because we don't want to disrespect them in any way, we just can't understand why if we paying bills and rent we have to be home by 12 or not cook , its just frustrating :( please help
