Your Experience with Damballah Wedo

I was thinking if a statue of the Hindu god Vishnu would be ok instead of St. Patrick, who is usually synchronized with Damballah Wedo. Or maybe I forgo statues all together and just use the candle with the veve as the main centerpiece.

I was going to ask if Alters have to stay up when using Papa or Damballah?

I recently switched my altars up. I have one huge working altar and have Erzulie Dantor on one side and Marie Laveau on the other side. I will need to figure out where to place his altar or burn his candle once. I got too much into altars lately and needed to scale back.

I have and man I have peace when I do!! I have provided white rum, cakes, eggs water and milk. I asked for signs of acceptance and presence he and Aiyda Showed up!!

I finally petitioned him Thursday ive had his altar up for months and set him up on my dresser I got very emotional when talking to him and asked him for healing and guidance through my current situation
